The story of putting the first site live in the new Content Management System (CMS)
Some of you maybe aware that the current HTML and CSS used on the website is around 7 years old. Where the web is concerned 7 years is a long time and during which we have seen many advancements in web technology, including web browser capabilities. So we have taken the opportunity of the CMS upgrade to look over the HTML and CSS and give it a bit of a refresh. Web best-practise has changed somewhat and to ensure we are current somethings have to change.
For the past few months work has been going on in the web team to look at upgrading the Content Management System (CMS) software to the latest version of the 'Polopoly' product. While it's a little way from completion I thought it'd be an interesting subject to blog about.
