You are here Home Engineering at Sheffield Study engineering at Sheffield Activities for Schools and Colleges Activities for Schools and Colleges Primary Schools We have a history of inspiring little engineers through activities in Sheffield city centre and through the Women in Engineering Student Society. Our activities have been created to encourage young children to think about what engineering is and what engineers do in a fun, hands-on, accessible way. Primary activities Secondary Schools The Faculty of Engineering offers a range of campus based experience days aimed at Year 7 to Year 11 learners. Secondary activities Sixth Form & Colleges Engineering offers a wide range of opportunities to sixth form and college students such as taster days and university residentials. All our activities are designed to give you an experience of what we offer and what life can be like for you as an engineering student at Sheffield. Sixth Form & College activities Teacher and Advisor Resources Resources for Teachers & Advisors If your students are taking maths and interested in applying it to solve problems for real people and, in some cases, saving lives, then engineering is a great option.
