International qualifications

We welcome applications from International students and accept a wide range of qualifications.

Off

The tables below list some of the international qualifications that we consider for entry to our undergraduate degree courses, and an indication of the levels of achievement we normally consider equivalent to the A Level requirements specified in the online prospectus.

This page lists some of the other qualifications we consider. Precise entry requirements vary for each course, and some courses don't accept all of the qualifications listed. Courses with subject prerequisites also require specific grades/scores in individual subjects.

All International applicants are also required to demonstrate proficiency in English language in the form of an English language qualification or test, such as IELTS.

More about English language requirements

As we receive a large number of applications for many of our degree courses, achieving the requirements for your chosen course doesn't guarantee that we'll be able to make you an offer of a place here at Sheffield.

These tables don't include all the international qualifications that we consider for entry. If you can't find your country or qualification, more information and contact details are available on our country pages.
