CiCS offers a range of support for researchers requiring software and hardware for their research. Support can be provided with research planning and for ongoing research, examples include statistics, data analysis and research software engineering support. We also provide a range of training for researchers. We provide modules for the Doctoral Development Program for High Performance Computing (HPC) and Computer Programming. Accessing the High Performance Computing Service
The CiCS Sheffield high performance computer is called ShARC. You can register to use ShARC for research and projects requiring intensive compute power. You can also use it to access software that is provided for compute-intensive research work.
