Student costs and credit

For student (Undergraduate and Postgraduate Taught) printing and photocopying costs a few pence per sheet and your balance is stored on your printing account. Whenever you print or copy, your balance is debited. We credit you £2 initially but you can add more funds online.

Free printing (limited time only)

To welcome new and returning students to the University, we're extending our summer 2021 offer of free printing to HP printers. This is available for a limited time only, we will provide an updated offer end date in due course.

At the end of the free period, account balances will be reset to zero and any credits on the old 'myPrinting account' will be transferred to the new print service.
