The TechBar is a new service offering face to face support for staff and students.  You can find the TechBar in the Information Commons (Level 1) Mon-Fri 9am-5pm and the Students' Union foyer Mon-Fri 9:30am-4pm

You can log your own IT query, or find answers to common problems in the Knowledgebase, via the IT Service Desk (Self Service) feature in MUSE.

This is available 24/7.

 Computer Centre Services

The Computer Centre will be open Monday to Friday from 09:30 - 16:30. This service is available from the 4th of October 2021.

The Computer Centre will offer a range of services, including:

  • UCard and Computer Account support

- Computer account creation, queries, issues and problems
- UCard printing, issues and replacements (including photo taking)
- UCard collection (by appointment)

  • Issue MFA tokens
  • Collection/returns of Hybrid Equipment/Student Hardship equipment
  • Distribution of mobile phones
