Victorian Popular Culture
Victorian Popular Culture provides access to an archive of digitised materials for the study of popular entertainment in the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. The University of Sheffield has access to full text content within the 'Circuses, Sideshows and Freaks' and 'Music Hall, Theatre and Popular Entertainment' collections. The archive includes a significant amount of digitised material from the National Fairground and Circus Archive.
Access is available directly from this page by connecting to the Victorian Popular Culture website - you'll be prompted to log in to MUSE as necessary.
