BENG Maintenance Engineering (AMRU18) FT

Year 3

This programme of study will be pursued for twelve months full-time, and there will be two semesters in the academic year, which will each comprise a period of eighteen weeks.

A student will take

Semester 1
AMR342 + A Levels at grade B or above, including a Mathematical based subject and a Science, Technology, Engineering or additional Mathematics related subject, or 120 credits Engineering BTEC at level 3. Plus 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above.. Industrial Project. BEng/Degree Apprenticeship students in relevant employment.	Project Management	AUT SEM	10 credits
Full academic year
AMR330 + A Levels at grade B or above, including a Mathematical based subject and a Science, Technology, Engineering or additional Mathematics related subject, or 120 credits Engineering BTEC at level 3. Plus 5 GCSE¿s at Grade C or above.. BEng/Degree Apprenticeship students in relevant employment.	Wear and Lubrication	ACAD YR	20 credits
AMR341 + A Levels at grade B or above, including a Mathematical based subject and a Science, Technology, Engineering or additional Mathematics related subject, or 120 credits Engineering BTEC at level 3. Plus 5 GCSE¿s at Grade C or above.. Project management. BEng/Degree Apprenticeship students in relevant employment.	Industrial project	ACAD YR	30 credits

This programme of study should be completed no more than three years following the completion of a related Foundation Degree or equivalent qualification, deemed to be at an appropriate level by the Programme Team.

A student who does not pass AMR341 (Industrial Project) at the first attempt will be ineligible for the award of BEng Maintenance Engineering with Honours.
