AER205   Aerospace Design II   (15 credits)

Description

In this group design project, students design, manufacture and test a space or air system meeting customer needs which have been defined within a statement of requirement.  The module is scenario-based and is intended to provide a sense of realism, drawing on real-life project processes and methodologies.  The module brings together aspects of teamwork, project and risk management, project progress tracking and reporting, materials, structures, air/space system design and lifecycles, computer simulation, analysis, manufacture, certification and sustainability. Students will test and analyse the performance of the systems they build.
