Description

The module provides an introduction to supply chain management and logistics within the international and engineering contexts. The module examines how LSCM strategies contribute to businesses' competitive advantage, the relationship aspects between business partners in meeting  end-customers' needs, supporting operational activities and the international movement of goods. The module is taught by reference to academic literature, concepts, practices, emerging trends including sustainability and management practice.  The module will utilise case-studies and contextual application to engineering environments.
