Advice on your Module Selection
Some modules run in both 30-credit and 15-credit versions. These have identical content and teaching hours, but different workload and assessment - students may not take both the 30-credit and 15-credit versions of the same module.
The modules in question are:
- EAS6143 and EAS680 State and Economy in Contemporary China/Political Economy of China
- EAS6149 and EAS6158 Media and Public Communication in Japan
- EAS6226 and EAS6227 Business and the Economy of Japan
- EAS6347 and EAS6447 Business and Management in Contemporary China
- EAS6353 and EAS6453 Contemporary Chinese Society and Media, State and Society in China
Students with no prior knowledge of a language (Chinese/Japanese/Korean) may register for the ab initio language modules; any student who has studied a language before should consult the language teaching staff to ensure that they are placed in the correct level.
Please be aware, not all modules are available to all students: consult your degree regulations for information on the options open within your degree programme. You can do this using the Programme Regulations Finder
(You must be signed into MUSE to access it).
