Accessing DDSS support during the COVID19 outbreak

The Disability & Dyslexia Support Service (DDSS) is operational but currently closed for face-to-face queries. All staff are working from home.

DDSS is a friendly and confidential service which provides advice and support for disabled students at the University of Sheffield.

Guidance for students on accessing additional consideration/support in relation to the COVID19 arrangements the University has made for the 2020-21 Autumn Term, and information on how aspects of University disability support will work at this time.

Alternative exam arrangements deadline

If you require additional support in exams (e.g. extra time) you must take steps to set this up before Friday 30th April 2021. Otherwise we cannot guarantee that support you need will be in place for exams you sit in the 2020-21 semester two assessment period.
