4 Weeks of Action - make a difference in Sheffield

Sheffield Volunteering, Sheffield Students' Union, have organised an exciting programme of activities with local charities, who work hard to make a difference in Sheffield. There are loads of activities to choose from and we would love for you to get involved!

Our 4 Weeks of Action in March aims to inspire and educate you about 4 key issues in our city. The issues are: Food Poverty, Loneliness, Refugees & Asylum Seekers, Wildlife & Nature.

Volunteering is a fantastic way to meet people, explore the city, gain new experiences, give back to local communities and do something different that is worthwhile. It helps you explore possible career paths, boost your CV and it can all go onto your HEAR (must be applied for). All the activities are free and we will give you all the information you need to have a great time!

To see all the activities, take a look at the document (to the right of this page), or visit sheffieldvolunteering.com and search '4 weeks'.

You could help out at a food bank, get outdoors in a primary school vegetable garden or cleaning up the river, serve breakfasts to homeless people, spend an afternoon with older people drinking tea, or chat with refugees at the Conversation Club.
