Profile

After completing PhD in Heliophysics and the Physics of the Solar System in 1998, Viktor became a research fellow, followed by a senior research fellow at the National Taras Shevchenko University (Physics Faculty, Space Physics Department) and the Main Astronomical Observatory of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (Space Plasma Physics Department) in Kyiv, Ukraine. In 2005, Viktor joined the University of Sheffield as a STFC Rolling Grant PDRA at the School of Mathematics and Statistics (SoMaS).

In 2012, Viktor became a lecturer in Control and Systems Engineering in the Department of Automatic Control and Systems Engineering. Since 2018, he has held the position of senior lecturer, and in 2022, he was appointed professor in Space Science in the Department, now School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the University of Sheffield.
