MPhil and PhD in Biblical Studies
MPhil
The MPhil (Master of Philosophy) is a research degree in which a student undertakes the survey of a field of study of personal choice and presents the results in a thesis of approximately 40,000 words.
A two-year programme, the thesis must be submitted within a maximum period of three years. Graduate research generally begins with the MPhil and either ends with an MPhil degree or with a transfer to PhD candidacy.

PhD
The PhD is a research degree in which a student undertakes the investigation of a topic of personal choice and presents the results in an original thesis of approximately 75,000 words.
Fees are payable for each of the three years of the programme, and the thesis must be submitted by the end of the fourth year.
