About the course1 year full-time A blend of theory and practical designed to advance your career. This continually evolving course has been running for over 40 years and attracts the strong support of the UK Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council. Our range of core modules will provide you with the basic skills you'll need to become a control and systems engineer. In addition to our core modules you'll also take our advanced modules which will cover state-of-the-art control and systems engineering topics, complemented by a research-level dissertation project. Our overall module structure is unique in its scope. No other UK course can give you such a strong grounding. Entry requirementsYou'll typically be an engineering, mathematics or science honours graduate (holding a 2:1 degree) from a recognised institution, looking to pursue a career in systems, control or information technology. Alternatively, you'll be an experienced professional, thinking about updating your knowledge of the subject. English language requirements for overseas studentsOverall IELTS grade of 6.5 with a minimum of 6.0 in each component or equivalent. Entry requirements for international students Course content
