About the course1 year full-time You'll acquire an up-to-date knowledge and understanding of all the key aspects in the rapidly developing field of avionic systems. You'll gain a variety of new skills and conduct a compact research project in a relevant area, preparing you for an industrial or academic career in avionics. This course is the only one in the UK which addresses state-of-the-art avionics, as well as the issues related to the future of 'more-electric' aircraft. Entry requirementsYou'll need at least a 2:1 honours degree from a good UK university or an equivalent international degree qualification. If you have a 2:2 or an equivalent degree, or industrial experience, we'll give your application individual consideration. TeachingTeaching is research-led from the EEE, Automatic Control and Systems Engineering and Computer Science departments. You'll carry out an individual research project with supervision throughout the project and during preparation of your dissertation. Assessment
