This course brings together theoretical and applied expertise in finance and accounting practices.

Whether you're starting your own company or working within an SME or a multinational, this solid foundation in theory and technique will serve you well for the rest of your career.

You'll gain a good understanding of the basics of financial statement analysis, corporate governance and international finance as well as the quantitative and analytical skills essential for developing fundamental problem-solving skills.

You can apply to base your dissertation on project work with an external organisation. Recent projects include group nominal structure for a multinational engineering firm, and developing a funding strategy for a Sheffield-based capital investment programme.
