Every organisation needs managers who see the big picture, inspiring leaders who understand every aspect of the business.

This comprehensive course in general management, with an emphasis on understanding and managing complex organisations, equips you with the skills to lead multi-disciplinary teams, at an operational level or in the boardroom.

The course covers all aspects of an organisation's activities, from managing people and finances to strategic planning, operations and marketing.

On the Company Project module, you'll work as part of a team on a real-world problem for a client, working with an external organisation.

We also offer you the chance to spend the summer at another leading university overseas.

This course will take you out of your comfort zone. Commit to it and there's no limit to what you can achieve.

How we teach

We'll teach you how to identify opportunities, solve problems and inspire others. Many of our teaching staff are world-class researchers working in policy-relevant areas. Our courses are based on their research.

We bring in guest speakers from business, local government and industry. You can apply to carry out a project with an external organisation as part of your course. We also offer you the chance to spend the summer at another university overseas.
