MSc Marketing Management Practice

Sheffield University Management School, Faculty of Social Sciences

Triple Crown accreditation means we meet the high standards of three of the world’s most prestigious accreditation bodies: AMBA, EQUIS and AACSB. This puts us in the top one per cent of business schools worldwide.

I was attracted by the small class sizes and combination of the interactive teaching programme and research project within an organisation to provide real-world work experience.

About the course

Course description 2017

Accredited by the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM)

This course is designed for graduates from any discipline. You become an Affiliate Post-Graduate Member of the CIM when you register. On graduation, you qualify for associate CIM membership. Once you have three years’ marketing experience, you qualify for full membership.

We don’t just teach the theory of marketing. There’s a lot of emphasis on applying what you learn in a business setting. You can also apply to do a project-based dissertation, working with an external organisation. Recent dissertation projects include a branding review for a large law firm and working with a local, environment-led SME to study consumer behaviour.
