The University of Sheffield is committed to supporting research staff by enhancing their experience of working at the University and contributing to their career development (in this context research staff means staff who are in the early years of their research careers). This web portal is designed to provide research staff with a range of valuable opportunities, information and guidance to support their development.
In a short new leaflet the Vice Chancellor talks about the value of research staff and their critical contribution to the University's ambitions.
The interests of research staff are the concern of the University's DRDC Standing Group for Research Staff. This group recently coordinated the University's submission for HR Excellence in Research.
