Campus Tours

Open Days - student holding here to help you sign

Come and take a tour of the University central campus.

They take place every Monday, Wednesday and Friday during term-time and leave at 1pm from the Students' Union Welcome Desk.

Our final campus tour before the Christmas break will take place on Monday 15 December. Tours start again from Monday 5 January 2015.

If the date you'd like to visit doesn't appear on the booking form, this means it's fully booked or that there is no tour taking place on that particular date.

Open Days 2015

Our 2015 undergraduate Open Days will take place on:

  • Thursday 18 June
  • Friday 10 July
  • Saturday 11 July
  • Saturday 5 September
  • Saturday 24 October

You can take a tour of the campus, the Students' Union and our accommodation. There are talks about studying abroad, how to get loans and grants and other things that matter to you.

Academic departments hold talks throughout the day. Staff and students will be there to answer your questions.

Most important of all, you get to find out how it feels – the atmosphere, the people, the campus and the city.

Register your interest now for an Open Day. We'll contact you once the booking system is live in February 2015.

Self-guided tours

If you'd rather explore the campus in your own time then you'll find our self-guided tour useful.

Department Open Days

Departments run their own open days, later in the year, after you apply. If a department offers you a place, or they're thinking of offering you a place, you'll be invited.

This is your chance to get to know your department better. You spend a whole day with staff and students. They'll tell you more about the course and the research they do. You'll be shown around the department and the University. Some department open days include an interview.
