4C

A student must pass the Aerospace Individual Investigative Project (ACS429 / COM429 / EEE429 / MAT429 / MEC429) at the first attempt in order to be eligible for the award of the Degree of MEng Aerospace Engineering. A student who fails to satisfy this requirement may be  permitted by the Faculty to become instead a student for the Degree of BEng Aerospace Engineering (AERU11).


4D

A student must pass security clearance in order to take ACS402 Industrial Training Programme: Avionics.  A student who fails to pass security clearance will be permitted to take a suitable replacement module at the discretion of the Aerospace Course Director.

A student must satisfy the requirements of the General Regulations for First Degrees as to progression in order to continue as a student for the Degree of MEng Aerospace Engineering (AERU10). A student who fails to satisfy these requirements may be permitted by the Faculty to (a) at the end of Level 2 become a candidate for the Degree of BEng Aerospace Engineering (AERU11), or (b) at the end of Level 3 become a candidate for the unaccredited Degree of BEng Aerospace Technology (AERU17). A student who fails the Individual Advanced Project at Level 4 or who chooses to withdraw from the University at the end of Level 3 may be awarded the unaccredited Degree of BEng Aerospace Technology (AERU17).
