One of the following streams
A student must pass all the Civil Aviation Authority Ground Training examinations of AER299 in order to continue as a student for the award of the Degree of BEng in Aerospace Engineering (Private Pilot Instruction). A student who fails to satisfy this requirement may be permitted by the Faculty to become instead a student for the degree of BEng in Aerospace Engineering (AERU11).
A student who is unable to take AER299 will be required to become instead a student for the Degree of BEng Aerospace Engineering (AERU11).
During Level 3, a student must attain a satisfactory standard in a Flight Laboratory Course, the arrangements being subject to the approval of the Aerospace Engineering Board of Studies.
A student who does not pass the Aerospace Individual Investigative Project (ACS389 / AER389 / COM389 / EEE389 / MAT389 / MEC389) at the first attempt will be ineligible for the award of the Degree with Honours.
