Year 1


This programme of study will be pursued for three years full-time, and there will be two semesters in each academic year, which will each comprise a period of eighteen weeks. The final year of this programme of study will have a duration of twelve months.

A student who does not pass AMR31004 (Industrial Project with project management) at the first attempt will be ineligible for the award of BEng Maintenance Engineering with Honours.

A student who has satisfied the requirements of the General Regulations for First Degrees as to progression and the requirements listed for AMRU06 or AMRU07, and who does not complete the requirements listed at 3. above, may instead be eligible for the award of FdEng Maintenance Engineering (AMRU06) or FdEng Maintenance Engineering (Apprenticeship) (AMRU07).
