3A

Before proceeding to the final year, a student will spend one session in an appropriate country, in attendance as a full time student at a university, the arrangements being subject to the approval of the Head of Department.  During this period the student will undertake studies at the host institution and any other work prescribed by the Head of Department which shall carry the value of one hundred and twenty credits in respect of which no grade shall be awarded.  A student who fails to satisfy this requirement may be permitted by the Board to become instead a student for the Degree of BSc in Biology (APSU13).
