A student who has been awarded sixty credits in respect of units listed in 1B, 1C and 1D above will be eligible for the award of Postgraduate Certificate in Biomedical Engineering.

Where a student has met the requirements for the award of a degree under the General Regulations for Higher Degrees, Postgraduate Diplomas and Postgraduate Certificates but not the requirements for the award of a degree accredited under Engineering Council rules, they may be recommended for the award of MSc Biomedical Engineering Studies (or PG Dip or PG Cert in Biomedical Engineering) as appropriate.
