2D.

A student must achieve a weighted mean grade of not less than 59.5 at Level 2 in order to proceed to Level 3.  The Examiners may in their discretion recommend that a student who obtains a weighted mean grade of not lower than 54.5 be permitted to proceed to Level 3.


2E.

A student who fails to satisfy these requirements may be permitted by the Faculty to become instead a student for the Degree of BSc in Biomedical Science with a year in Industry (BMSU23) or for the Degree of BSc in Biomedical Science (BMSU02) should a year in industry not be completed the year after Level 2.

3D.

A student must achieve a weighted mean grade of not less than 64.5 in the Autumn Semester of Level 3 in order to proceed to the Year in Industry.  The Examiners may at their discretion recommend that a student who obtains a weighted mean grade of not lower than 59.5 be permitted to proceed to Level 4.  A student who fails to satisfy these requirements may be permitted by the Faculty to become instead a student for the Degree of BSc in Biomedical Science (BMSU02).  

Year 4


4A.

A student will spend one year working as a placement student in an establishment approved by the department.  A student who fails to satisfy this requirement may be required by the Faculty to become instead a student for the Degree of MBiomedSci in Biomedical Science (BMSU07).
