Semester 2
CHM1002 XCannot be taken with: CHM2296 + A level Chemistry grade B or above.	Fundamentals of Chemistry 2	SPR SEM	20 credits
CHM1402 + A level Chemistry grade B or above. Only available to students within the Department of Chemistry.	Further Laboratory Chemistry	SPR SEM	10 credits

Students without A level Mathematics grade C or above and without A level Physics grade C or above.

CHM2401 + Only available to students within the Department of Chemistry.Pre-requisites:Either both of Module CHM1401: General Laboratory Chemistry Module CHM1402: Further Laboratory Chemistryor Module CHM1403: Laboratory Chemistry.	Chemistry Laboratory	ACAD YR	30 credits

A student must achieve a weighted mean grade of 59.5 or above at Level 2 in order to continue as a student for the Degree of MChem in Chemistry (CHMU02). A student who fails to satisfy this requirement may be required by the Head of Department to become instead a student for the Degree of BSc in Chemistry (CHMU01).

Year 3

Core These are a compulsory part of your degree: you cannot change them. units (120 credits)

A student must achieve a weighted mean grade of 54.5 or above at Level 3 in order to continue as a student for the Degree of MChem in Chemistry (CHMU02). A student who fails to satisfy this requirement may be required by the Head of Department to become instead a student for the Degree of BSc in Chemistry (CHMU01).

Year 4
