Year 3

Before proceeding to the final year a student will spend one session in an appropriate country, in attendance as a full time student at a university or other approved institution, or working in an industrial establishment, the arrangements being subject to the approval of the Head of the Department. During this period the student will undertake studies at the host institution and any other work prescribed by the Head of Department, which will carry the value of 120 credits including 10 credits from the MLT year abroad units, in respect of which no grade will be awarded. A student who fails to satisfy this requirement may be required by the Head of Department to become instead a student for the Degree of BSc in Chemistry (CHMU01).
