Semester 2

Year 3

Before proceeding to the final year a student will spend one year working in an industrial establishment on a project agreed between the Head of Department and the industrial establishment. During this period the student will prepare a written report, present an oral report, or undertake any other examined work on the project as prescribed by the Head of Department, which will carry the value of 120 credits in respect of which no grade will be awarded. A student who fails to satisfy this requirement may be required by the Head of Department to become instead a student for the Degree of BSc in Chemistry (CHMU01).
