A student must achieve a weighted mean grade of 64.5 or above in units listed under 1A above in order to continue as a student for the Degree of MChem in Chemistry with Study in Australasia (CHMU14). A student who fails to satisfy this requirement may be required by the Head of Department to become instead a student for the Degree of MChem in Chemistry (CHMU02).

Year 2

A student must achieve a weighted mean grade of 59.5 or above at Level 2 in order to continue as a student for the Degree of MChem in Chemistry with Study in Australasia (CHMU14). A student who fails to satisfy this requirement may be required by the Head of Department to become instead a student for the Degree of BSc in Chemistry (CHMU01).

Year 3

Core These are a compulsory part of your degree: you cannot change them. units (120 credits)

A student will take

CHM3906	Study in Australasia	ACAD YR	120 credits

Before proceeding to the final year a student will spend one session in an appropriate country in attendance as a full-time student at a university or other approved institution, or working in an industrial establishment, the arrangements being subject to the approval of the Head of Department. During this period the student will undertake studies at the host institution and any other work prescribed by the Head of Department, which will carry the value of 120 credits.

A student must achieve a weighted mean grade of 54.5 or above at Level 3 in order to continue as a student for the Degree of MChem in Chemistry with Study in Australasia (CHMU14). A student who fails to satisfy this requirement may be required by the Head of Department to become instead a student for the Degree of BSc in Chemistry (CHMU01).

Year 4
