2B

A student must pass units CIV2100, CIV2300, CIV2500, FCE1001 and FCE2001 to proceed to Level 3.  


2C

If a student achieves a weighted mean grade equal to or greater than 54.5 and fulfils the requirement at Level 2 for MEng Civil Engineering (CIVU16) or MEng Civil and Structural Engineering (CIVU03) they may transfer onto that programme.

3C

A student who does not pass CIV3202 (Individual Project) at the first attempt will be ineligible for the award of the Degree with Honours.

 


3D

A student must take MAS380 and CIV321 at 3B above in order to be eligible to transfer to CIVU03 (MEng Civil and Structural Engineering) or MAS380 and CIV337 at 3B above in order to be eligible to transfer to CIVU16 (MEng in Civil Engineering). In addition, a student must have obtained a level 3 autumn semester weighted mean grade (excluding MGT388) equal to or greater than 60.0.


3E

If a student transfers to either CIVU03 (MEng Civil and Structural Engineering) or CIVU16 (MEng in Civil Engineering) at the end of the autumn semester of level 3, CIV387 will be substituted for CIV386 for the MEng progression requirement.
