2B

A student must pass units ARC155, ARC126, FCE1001, FCE2001, CIV2100, CIV2200, ARC175, and CIV2501 to proceed to level 3.


2C

A student must have been awarded a minimum of 100 credits at level 2 and obtained a weighted mean grade of greater than or equal to 54.5 to proceed to level 3. A student who does not fulful these criteria will be transferred onto the BEng Structural Engineering with Architectural Studies (CIVU20).


2D

A BEng Structural Engineering with Architectural Studies (CIVU20) student may return to CIVU19 in level 3 following the February Board of Examiners, if their autumn semester level 3 weighted mean grade is equal to or
greater than 60 (excluding MGT388), and they fulfill the requirement at Level 2 & 3 for the MEng Structural Engineering with Architectural Studies programme (CIVU19). In this instance CIV387 will be substituted for MAS380 for the MEng progression requirement.

A student must pass CIV4000 Individual Research Project or CIV4004 European-Based Individual Research Study at the first attempt in order to be eligible for the award of the Degree of MEng in Structural Engineering with Architectural Studies (CIVU19). A student who fails to satisfy this requirement may be permitted by the Faculty to be awarded the Degree of BEng in Structual Engineering with Architectural Studies (CIVU20) but will be ineligible for the award of that Degree with Honours.
