A student must pass units ARC107, ARC108, ARC103, ARC104, CIV1000, CIV150, CIV1900, MAS151 and MAT1600 to proceed to Level 2.
A student will be expected to pass FCE1001 (Global Engineering Challenge Week) in order to proceed to Level 3. A student must pass this module in order to graduate.
At the discretion of the examiners, a student must pass units ARC165, ARC126, CIV2100, CIV2200 and CIV2501 to proceed to Level 3.
A student must have been awarded a minimum of 100 credits at Level 2 and obtained a weighted mean grade of greater than or equal to 54.5 to proceed to Level 3. A student who does not fulful these criteria will be transferred onto the BEng Structural Engineering with Architectural Studies (CIVU20).
A student will be expected to pass FCE2001 (Engineering - You're Hired) in order to proceed to Level 3. A student must pass this module in order to graduate.
A student must have been awarded a minimum of 110 credits to proceed to Level 4. A student who fails to satisfy this requirement may be permitted by the Faculty to be awarded the Degree of BEng StructuralEngineering with Architecture Studies (CIVU20) but will be ineligible for the award of that Degree with Honours.
A student must pass CIV4000 (Individual Research Project) or CIV4004 (European-Based Individual Research Study) at the first attempt in order to be eligible for the award of the Degree of MEng in Structural Engineering with Architectural Studies (CIVU19). A student who fails to satisfy this requirement may be permitted by the Faculty to be awarded the Degree of BEng in Structual Engineering with Architectural Studies (CIVU20) but will be ineligible for the award of that Degree with Honours.
