2B

At the discretion of the examiners, a student must pass units CIV2100, CIV2300, CIV2500 and MAT2600 to proceed to Level 3.


2C

A student will be expected to pass FCE2001 (Engineering - You're Hired) in order to proceed to Level 3. A student must pass this module in order to graduate.


2D

At the discretion of the examiners, a student must have been awarded a minimum of 100 credits at Level 2 and obtained a weighted mean grade of equal to or greater than 59.5 to proceed to Level 3.

A student who does not fulfil this criteria may be transferred onto either the MEng in Civil and Structural Engineering (CIVU03) if they have achieved a weighted mean grade of equal to or greater than 54.5 or the BEng in Civil Engineering (CIVU17) if their weighted mean grade is below this.

A student must pass CIV4000 (Individual Research Project) at the first attempt in order to be eligible for the award of the Degree of MEng in Civil and Structural Engineering with Study Abroad Year (CIVU29). A student who fails to satisfy this requirement may be permitted by the Faculty to be awarded the Degree of BEng in Civil Engineering (CIVU17) but will be ineligible for the award of that Degree with Honours.
