2C

A student must normally achieve a weighted mean grade of greater than or equal to 60 at Level 2 in order to continue as a student for the Degree of MEng in Architectural Engineering with Study Abroad Year (CIVU34), progression being at the discretion of the Board of Examiners. A student who fails to satisfy this requirement may be permitted to become instead a student for either the Degree of MEng in Architectural Engineering (CIVU21) or the Degree of BEng in Architectural Engineering (CIVU24).

A student must pass CIV4008 (Individual Research Project) at the first attempt in order to be eligible for the award of the Degree in MEng in Architectural Engineering (CIVU21). A student who fails to satisfy this requirement may be awarded the degree of BEng in Architectural Engineering (CIVU24) but will be ineligible for the award of that Degree with Honours.
