COM6912 + Restricted to students studying for MSc Data Analytics..	Data Analytics Dissertation Project	SUM SEM	60 credits

A student who has been awarded 120 credits in respect of units listed at 1A, 1B and 1C above shall be eligible for the award of Postgraduate Diploma in Data Analytics.

A student who has been awarded 60 credits in respect of units listed at 1A, 1B and 1C above shall be eligible for the award of Postgraduate Certificate in Data Analytics.

A student may proceed to COM6912 Individual Data Analytics Dissertation Project only on the recommendation of the Examiners based on performance in the units listed at 1A and 1B above.

In the event of failure in COM6912 Individual Data Analytics Dissertation Project at the first attempt, any resubmission is subject to the approval of the Board of Examiners.

For students commencing Year 1 of a programme of study in or after September 2022:

A student who failed to pass one or more of the modules from the list below may not be recommended for a degree award that is accredited under Engineering Council rules; COM6655, COM6911.

Where a student has met the requirements for the award of a degree under the General Regulations for Higher Degrees, Postgraduate Diplomas and Postgraduate Certificates but not the requirements for the award of a degree accredited under Engineering Council rules, they may be recommended for the award of Data Analytics Studies.
