A student must pass COM3500 (Individual Research Project) at the first attempt in order to continue as a student for the degree of MComp in Computer Science with Mathematics. A student who fails to satisfy this requirement may be permitted by the Faculty to become instead a student for the Degree of BSc in Computer Science and Mathematics (COMU109) but will be ineligible for the award of the Degree with Honours.
