A student must satisfy the requirements of the General Regulations for First Degrees as to progression in order to continue as a student for the Degree of MComp in Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science (COMU119). A student who fails to satisfy these requirements may be permitted by the Faculty to become instead a student for the Degree of BSc in Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science (COMU117).

A student must pass COM3600 (Research Project) at the first attempt in order to continue as a student for the degree of MComp in Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science. A student who fails to satisfy this requirement may be permitted by the Faculty to become instead a student for the Degree of BSc in Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science (COMU117) but will be ineligible for the award of the degree with Honours.
