Year 3

Before proceeding to level 3, a student will undertake one year of language tuition including a period spent in Japan, with the arrangements being subject to the approval of the Head of Department. A student will also attend suitable courses in German to be approved by the Head of the School of Languages and Cultures (or complete an appropriate study programme approved by the Head of the School of Languages and Cultures). During this period a student will take the following unit for which no grades will be awarded.
