Year 1

A person may be admitted as a student who:

(a) is a recognised graduate or has gained educational qualifications or demonstrated their capacity to work at Masters level deemed acceptable by the Head of School;

and

(b) has normally completed not less than two years' service in educational work approved by the Head of School.

EDU7070 + A first degree, Three years work experience in the field of early childhood education.	Development, Learning and the Curriculum	GRAD YR	30 credits
EDU7080 + A first degree, Three years work experience in the field of early childhood education.	Contemporary Issues in Early Childhood Education	GRAD YR	30 credits

Year 2

A student will take

EDU7090 + First degree, Three years work experience in the field of early childhood education.	Research Methods in Early Childhood Education	GRAD YR	30 credits

A student who has been awarded sixty credits in respect of units listed at 2 and 3 will be eligible for the award of the Postgraduate Certificate in Early Childhood Education (EDUT168).

A student will attend compulsory study schools unless permission to be absent has been granted by the Head of School.
