A student who fails to satisfy these requirements may be permitted by the Faculty to become instead a student for the Degree of BEng in Electronics and Computer Engineering (EEEU74).

A student who fails to satisfy this requirement may be permitted by the Faculty to become instead a student for the Degree of BEng in Electronics and Computer Engineering (EEEU74) but will be ineligible for the award of the Degree with Honours.

4D

A student must pass EEE481 (Group Project) at the first attempt in order to be eligible for the award of the Degree of MEng in Electronics and Computer Engineering (EEEU12). A student who fails to satisfy this requirement may be awarded the Degree of BEng in Electronics and Computer Engineering (EEEU74).

 


4E

A student must pass a minimum of 100 credits at Level 4 in order to be recommended for the award of the degree of MEng Electronics and Computer Engineering with accreditation (Full CEng) by the IET. A student who fails to gain 100 credits at Level 4, but otherwise satisfies the General Regulations, will be recommended for the award of the degree of MEng Electronics and Computer Engineering but without accreditation.  This applies to any student who enters any degree programme in the Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering from September 2017 onwards.
