A student must pass EEE481 (Group Project) at the first attempt in order to be eligible for the award of the Degree of MEng Electronic Engineering with a Year in Industry. A student who fails to satisfy this requirement may be awarded the Degree of BEng in Electronic Engineering with a Year in Industry (EEEU56).
A student must pass a minimum of 100 credits at Level 4 in order to be recommended for the award of the degree of MEng Electronic Engineering with a Year in Industry with accreditation (Full CEng) by the IET. A student who fails to gain 100 credits at Level 4, but otherwise satisfies the General Regulations, will be recommended for the award of the degree of MEng Electronic Engineering with a Year in Industry but without accreditation. This applies to any student who enters any degree programme in the Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering from September 2017 onwards.
