A student must pass both FCE1001 and FCE2001 in order to progress to Level 3.
A student must satisfy the requirements of the General Regulations for First Degrees as to progression in order to continue as a student for the Degree of MEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEEU58). A student who fails to satisfy these requirements may be permitted by the Faculty to become instead a student for the Degree of BEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEEU59).
A student must pass EEE381 (Individual Investigative Project) at the first attempt in order to continue as a student for the award of the Degree of MEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEEU58). A student who fails to satisfy this requirement may be permitted by the Faculty to become instead a student for the Degree of BEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEEU59) but will be ineligible for the award of the Degree with Honours.
A student must pass EEE481 (Group Project) at the first attempt in order to be eligible for the award of the Degree of MEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEEU58). A student who fails to satisfy this requirement may be awarded the Degree of BEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEEU59).
A student must pass a minimum of 100 credits at Level 4 in order to be recommended for the award of the degree of MEng Electrical and Electronic Engineering with accreditation (Full CEng) by the IET. A student who fails to gain 100 credits at Level 4, but otherwise satisfies the General Regulations, will be recommended for the award of the degree of MEng Electrical and Electronic Engineering but without accreditation. This applies to any student who enters any degree programme in the Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering from September 2017 onwards.
