A student will take a total of 120 credits at Level 4. A student taking 30 credits from 4B must take 45 credits from 4C. A student taking 30 credits from 4C must take 45 credits from 4B.


4E

A student must pass the Individual Advanced Project (GEE401) at the first attempt in order to be eligible for the award of the Degree of MEng Engineering (GEEU18). A student who fails to satisfy this requirement may be permitted by the Faculty to be awarded the Degree of BEng Engineering (GEEU40).

A student must pass a minimum of 100 credits at Level 4 in order to be awarded the degree of MEng Engineering with accreditation.

A student must satisfy the requirements of the General Regulations for First Degrees as to progression in order to continue as a student for the Degree of MEng Engineering (GEEU18). A student who fails to satisfy these requirements may be permitted by the Faculty to (a) at the end of Level 2 become a candidate for the Degree of BEng Engineering (GEEU40), or (b) at the end of Level 3 become a candidate for the unaccredited Degree of BEng Engineering Technology (GEEU46). A student who fails the Individual Advanced Project at Level 4 or who chooses to withdraw from the University at the end of Level 3 may be awarded the unaccredited Degree of BEng Engineering Technology (GEEU46).
