A student must pass the Individual Project (GEE302) at the first attempt or score over 40 in the advanced individual project (GEE401), in order to be eligible for the award of the Degree of BEng Engineering (GEEU26) with accreditation. A student who fails to satisfy this requirement may be permitted by the Faculty to be awarded an unaccredited Degree of BEng Engineering (GEEU46).

A student must pass a minimum of 100 credits at Level 3 in order to be awarded the degree of BEng Engineering with accreditation. A student who passes a minimum of 90 but fewer than 100 credits at Level 3 will, in accordance with the General Regulations, be awarded the degree of BEng Engineering, but without accreditation.
