A student must achieve a weighted mean grade of not less than 59.5 at Level 2 in order to proceed to Level 3. The Examiners may in their discretion recommend that a student who is awarded not fewer than one hundred credits at Level 2 and who obtains a weighted mean grade of not lower than 54.5 be permitted to proceed to Level 3.


2E

A student who fails to satisfy the requirements of Regulation 2D may be permitted by the Board to become instead a student for the Degree of BSc in Geography (GEOU202).

A student will take unrestricted F5 or F6 units to the value of 20 credits.

3D

A student may be required to undertake vacation fieldwork as part of the attendance requirements for certain units, the arrangements being subject to the approval of the Head of Department.


3E

In order to proceed to Level 4, a student must achieve an average grade of not less than 65 in the Level 3 modules taken in Semester 1.  The individual module grades must not be less than 60.  The Examiners may at their discretion recommend that a student who is awarded not fewer than one hundred credits at Level 3 and who obtains a minimum grade of not less than 60 in the Level 3 modules taken in Semester 1 be permitted to proceed to Level 4.


3F

A student who fails to satisfy the requirements of Regulation 3E may be permitted by the Board to become instead a student for the Degree of BSc in Geography (GEOU202).
