A student will choose either the Post A-Level German Stream, in which case they will take the units listed at 2Ai, 2Aii and 2Aiii below; or the Non A-Level German Stream, in which case they take the units listed at 2Bi or 2Bii below.
A student will take a minimum of 20 credits and a maximum of 60 credits from the following, with not more than 20 credits being selected from 2Aiii.
A student taking 60 or more credits from 2C may choose to take 20 of these credits from unrestricted F5 units.
Before proceeding to the final year a student will spend one session in an appropriate country, as an English assistant in a school, in attendance as a full-time student at a university or other approved institution, or gaining appropriate academic or professional experience, the arrangements being subject to the approval of the Head of School.
Grades awarded in respect of the units in 3B will carry the same weight as grades awarded at Level 2.
