A candidate who has been awarded sixty credits as described at 1A, and does not proceed to Year 2, above shall be eligible for the award of Postgraduate Certificate in Advanced Metallic Systems (MATTXXX).

A candidate who has been awarded one hundred and twenty credits as described at 1A and either 1B or 1C above, and does not proceed to Year 2, shall be eligible for the award of Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Metallic Systems (MATT107).

A candidate who has been awarded seventy credits as described at 1A and in addition one hundred and ten credits from either 1D or 1E above shall be eligible for the award of MSc Advanced Metallic Systems (MATTXXX).

Alternative units to the same credit value may be substituted at the discretion of the CDT Director.

In order to proceed to Year 2, a student will satisfy the requirements of the AMS CDT Academic Progression Committee.
